Terms and Conditions
These are the terms and conditions under which NZM Rentals offers motorhome holidays. Please read it carefully. By your making the reservation with us and paying a deposit, you have entered into a travel agreement with us.
Forms of Payment
You may make payment by Visa, MasterCard
You may use Online Booking system to check available motorhomes and submit the reservation online. A deposit of $100NZD or equivalent must be paid for us to reserve the motorhome for you.
A travel consultant will email you the Motorhome Reservation Email, this email will contain your motorhome reservation number, and secure online check-in link of your reservation on motorhome company’s official website.
We will send you motorhome driving information pack, you may ask unlimited questions regarding your holiday planning.
Motorhome booking balance to be collected from you
On the day of pick-up, you will visit the branch with your booking confirmation, your passport, valid driver’s license, and pick-up your motorhome.
During your motorhome holiday, please feel free to contact us for any motorhome related support questions, or make activity or holiday park reservations.
You will have a great New Zealand motorhome holiday!
91 days prior to pickup – 20% of the total booking value less $100 deposit.
25 days prior to pickup – 80% of the total booking value.
Will be listed in your booking confirmation.

Diesel tax is payable on diesel vehicles upon vehicle return. The official term for diesel tax in New Zealand is the Road User Charge Recovery Fee. These rates may be changed by NZ government, so please check with branch staff again when you pickup the vehicles.
Motorhome company offers complimentary shuttle bus transfer only between airport terminals and branch. If heading to pickup branch, or leaving the branch to other locations, the cost is on your own.
If you are a holder of a valid and current overseas car licence (equivalent to a New Zealand Class 1), you can drive any of our campervans which are all under the maximum gross laden weight limit allowed of 6,000 kg.
You must comply with the following conditions:
you have a current and valid overseas licence or driver permit, and
you haven’t been given a disqualification or suspension in New Zealand, and
you came into New Zealand less than 12 months ago, and
your overseas licence is in English, or you have an accurate translation,
and you haven’t been granted a New Zealand driver licence since you last entered New Zealand.
Change and Cancellation Policy
Will be listed when you receive the booking confirmation.
We strongly recommend our clients to purchase travel insurances to cover the loss of any unexpected cancellation costs. We work with New Zealand’s leading travel insurance provider Southern Cross insurance to offer their Visiting New Zealand policy, please enquire for further details.
